When people have extra adipose tissue on the L-Spine, I’ve noticed a little pressure changes the measurement significantly. What’s the best way to standardize this? I assume it’s to let the pencil rest without pressure.

I am currently working on losing some pounds myself and I do have some extra adipose tissue in the lower back. During a treatment with Dr Brady he noted that there really isnt a work around for it and it could alter the measurement from 20 to 50 percent. In these cases you have to get in there and see what you feel, instead of relying on the test as much.

Very helpful Matt. I figured so. Thanks for confirming.
