I have two current cases where I am having difficulty palpating the median nerve at pronator teres.
How big is the nerve at this site compared to the ulnar nerve at the elbow?

From the studies I’ve read, at the elbow the ulnar nerve typically ranges from 4-7mm2, and the median nerve at the same site ranges from 5-10mm2 in adults.

How is the tissue health of the superficial flexors above the the nerve where you are trying to palpate? my initial thought is you may need to address adhesion more superficial first in order to be able to better access the nerve.

          Thanks Logan,
I definitely need to clear out superficial structures.
